Islah LA January 2022 Highlights
MLK Day of Service

Food Pantry
Islah LA continues to serve the South LA community through our weekly food pantry, thanks to our partnership with Islamic Relief and the dedication of our community members and volunteers. In the month of January, we served 1,639 individuals’ worth of food, drink and other essential items. 143 different households and 583 different individuals were served over the course of the month, with most coming back weekly. This service has truly helped uplift our local community and we thank everyone who is involved with making it possible.

Upcoming Events

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “The person who will receive the highest reward for Salat (prayer) is the one who comes to perform in the mosque from the farthest distance, and he who waits for Salat to perform with the Imam (in congregation) will have a greater reward than the one who observes it alone and then goes to sleep.” – Bukhari & Muslim.
We are holding Fajr prayer in congregation at the Islah facility every Sunday. Please join us to pray Fajr with your brothers and sisters.
